After seeking expert advice we are informed the shirt was made in 75/76 season and the one shirt from this period to turn up had stitching and wasn’t stuck down but in their opinion it is definitely from that period and unlikely that replicas were made which backs up the vendors story that it has been in the family over 30 years and was given to his family by the player.
